Staying under thershold from all triggers?

All these positive force free people who think dogs cannot handle any pressure and we should always keep them under threshold from all triggers are just so sad.

They like to challenge people for not constantly hiding/running away/heavily managing their dogs from every trigger the way they do, "why are you not walking your dog on the other side? Why aren't you advocating for your dog?"

So, how do they take their dogs to say a crowded store, farmer's market, a busy patio, or a camp site where there will be dogs and children left right and centre?

We train dogs to deal with those situations. They can't, so they try to make themselves feel better about their own incompetency by challenging those who can - why don't you advocate for the dog?

Advocacy is not about that. They are just being over protective and sheltering their dogs unnecessarily because they cannot do any better - and dogs are imprisoned in a tiny world because of that.

By showing the world what proper training can do, we are indeed advocating for these dogs. We are giving owners hope, letting them see the possibilities and full potential of what their dogs can achieve - so they can live a much happier life together.

Instead of asking, "Why aren't you walking the dog on the other side to avoid all those triggers?"

Why not ask,

"If the training you paid for has actually worked, why can't you walk your dog on whichever side you want?"
